My Story
I opened and designed my own restaurants from the ground up, building kitchens with the smartest, most efficient equipment available. Not just beautiful kitchens — engineered ones. Every station was placed with purpose, every flow calculated to reduce waste, cut labor costs, and increase profit. The kitchens I designed didn’t just look professional — they performed.
As part of my resume, I have owned two restaurants where I established and refined my methods for achieving perfection.
In my role as an Area Chef for leading food and beverage brands, I successfully managed 18 kitchens simultaneously and have opened over 25 restaurants in recent years.
I have experience managing large-scale commercial kitchens as well as fine dining establishments. Throughout my career,
I have worked diligently in over 100 different types of kitchens and restaurants, continuously learning and researching various management methods with an open mind and heart, striving to become a world-class professional.
I became an expert for turning complex, chaotic operations into clean, profitable systems. My approach was simple: work smarter, waste less, earn more. The efficiencies I built didn’t just save money — they compounded over time.
In Costa Rica, I ran Somos in Santa Teresa and shaped the kitchen at The Bakery ST, introducing advanced operational systems like MarketMan, 7Shifts, Toshal, Square, ClickUp and many more.
Additionally, I developed "Culin.Art R.I," a comprehensive restaurant intelligence dashboard designed to provide owners with a holistic view of their business. This tool includes AI analysis, KPI comparisons, and much more. It is user-friendly and allows for real-time insights, making it easy to assess the overall performance of the establishment.
These tools gave owners real-time control over P&L, food costs, and team performance.
What I brought was a rare combination of chef, systems architect, kitchen designer, and financial strategist — along with local experience.
Off the clock, I surfed the coastline and played chess, approaching each project with strategy, foresight, and zero wasted moves.
